How to Make Crunchy Marbled Icing


This crunch frosting is perfect for cookies!  Marble it with food coloring for a dreamy and magical look!




  1. In a bowl, first combine confectioner’s sugar and milk.  Blend until smooth.
  2. Then add the corn syrup and almond extract and beat until smooth.
  3. If your icing is too thick, add a bit of milk.  If it needs a little more stick, add a touch of corn syrup.
  4. Divide into separate bowls – 1 bowl for each color.
  5. Use a paint brush or small spoon to add a touch of icing to each corner of the cookie.
  6. Use a fresh toothpick to gently swirl the colors together.
  7. Allow the frosting to dry.  Use a fresh toothpick for each cookie.
