Crunchy Marbled Frosting Recipe

This crunchy frosting is perfect for cookies! Marble it with food coloring for a dreamy magical look!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Confectioner's Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Whole Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • Food Dye (in the colors of your choice)

Directions

1. In a bowl, first combine confectioner's sugar and milk. Blend until smooth.
2. Then add the corn syrup and almond extract and beat until smooth.
3. If your icing is too thick add a bit of milk. If it needs a little more stick add a touch of corn syrup.
4. Divide into separate bowls - 1 bowl for each color.
5. Use a paint brush or a small spoon to add a touch of icing to each corner of the cookie.
6. Use a fresh toothpick to gently swirl the colors together.
7. Allow the frosting to dry. Use a fresh toothpick for each cookie.
