Join Pop Shop America on May 9th at Rec Room for a super fun Cut Paper Artwork craft workshop. Local Foods Downtown will be providing light bites for you to munch on during the workshop, so bring your appetite!
At this workshop we’ll be setting the stage for gorgeous 3D papercut artwork. Everyone will make their own shadow box with several different choices of papercut artwork that is layered in a gorgeous way. Like the theatre, this art class will play on light and space to create something special.
At each Pop Shop America Workshop we listen to music, chat, and nosh on small bites locally prepared by Local Foods catering! Join us for a super fun evening and making + snacking!
We take care of all the supplies you need and you get to keep your work! You will walk away with professional quality design goods. You don’t need to be an experienced crafter to join us – we choose supplies that will lead to professional results.
ABOUT DOWNTOWN DISTRICT
The Downtown District was formed in 1995 for the purpose of revitalizing the urban core of the country’s fourth largest city. Over the past decade, the Downtown District has used a combination of public funds and private resources to catalyze area improvements focusing on the city blocks bordered by Interstate 10, Highway 59 and Interstate 45.
The Downtown District operates under the leadership of a 30-person board of directors who oversee the implementation of the District’s strategic initiatives. Funding for the Downtown District comes from a special assessment on all downtown property owners.
