Chai Tea Buttercream Frosting Recipe

This spicy Chai Tea Buttercream Frosting is perfect for gingerbread or even a vanilla cupcake!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Bean or Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Clove
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a Kitchen-Aid, or with a bowl and electric mixer, combine the powdered sugar, milk and butter.
  • Mix on medium speed until well blended.  Scrape the sides of the bowl when needed.
  • Add the spices and vanilla and whip until evenly blended.
  • Top cooled desserts with your Chai Tea Buttercream Frosting or store in the refrigerator.
