Skinny Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Meatballs Recipe

Make these delicious Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Meatballs for next game day!  They are a tasty and totally fun twist on the traditional Armadillo Egg and pair so well with COCA-COLA ZERO SUGAR.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet Ground Turkey
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Fresh ground Salt & Pepper
  • 4 oz. Light Cream Cheese
  • 4 Jalapenos
  • 4 Mini Bell Peppers

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cut the tops off your mini bell pepper and jalapenos and then slice them in half long ways.
  • Hollow the peppers completely leaving only the outer edge.  Remove any remaining seeds especially in the jalapenos.
  • Fill the peppers with cream cheese.
  • In a bowl, mix your garlic powder, onion powder and salt & pepper thoroughly into your turkey.  Add an egg and mix thoroughly again.
  • Wrap each pepper with the turkey, so that the pepper and cream cheese are completely surrounded by turkey.
  • Place on a cookie sheet and into your pre-heated oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden on the outside.
