How to Make Crunchy Marbled Icing

This crunch frosting is perfect for cookies!  Marble it with food coloring for a dreamy and magical look!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Confectioner's Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Whole Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • Food Dye in the colors of your choice

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, first combine confectioner's sugar and milk.  Blend until smooth.
  • Then add the corn syrup and almond extract and beat until smooth.
  • If your icing is too thick, add a bit of milk.  If it needs a little more stick, add a touch of corn syrup.
  • Divide into separate bowls - 1 bowl for each color.
  • Use a paint brush or small spoon to add a touch of icing to each corner of the cookie.
  • Use a fresh toothpick to gently swirl the colors together.
  • Allow the frosting to dry.  Use a fresh toothpick for each cookie.
