In a small bowl, mix together a small amount of red food dye with sugar. Stir until thoroughly blended.

Using a lime wedge, run the juice around the rim of the Tom Collins glass, moistening the entire rim.

Turn the glass upside down and dip it and swirl it in the red sugar.

Add a small amount of crushed ice to the glass.

Next, add 2 ounces or 2 shots of premium gin.

Pour in 2 teaspoons of cherry grenadine.

Top with 4 ounces of club soda or tonic.

Squeeze in the rest of your lime wedge or add an additional 1/2 ounce of lime juice.

Drink and enjoy!
