4 Green Cleanse Recipes that are Easy and Filling

Green Gazpacho Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large tomatillos
  • 4 large or 1 pint mini green heirloom tomatoes
  • 1/2 english cucumber
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup green onion
  • 1 large jalapeño
  • 1 large lime
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp. basil
  • 1 tbsp. oregano
  • 1 tbsp. cumin
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • a pinch of cayenne

Instructions
 

  • Finely chop your tomatillos, cucumber, bell pepper onion, jalapeño, and garlic.
  • Add all the ingredients to a large bowl.
  • Toss in all the spices including the basil, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
  • In a food processor, combine the heirloom tomatoes and lime juice and blend until puréed.
  • Add around 1/3 of the chopped vegetable mixture into the food processor and pulse until smooth.
  • Add the liquid tomato mixture from the food processor in the large bowl with the rest of the vegetables.
  • Chill for 2 hours and serve cold.
