Ingredients

  • 12 Wooden Skewers soak them for 30 minutes before using
  • 1 head Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 carton Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
  • 1 packet Bacon
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 bottle Litehouse Blue Cheese Dressing

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon.  You can cook it your preferred way only need to bring them to a chewy consistency.  Then chop the bacon in to 1-2 inch squares.
  • Chop the iceberg lettuce, avocado and red onion into large chunks.
  • Layer the lettuce, tomato, onion and bacon onto the wooden skewers.  Don't add the avocado.  We'll add that at the end!
  • Add the skewers to the grill.  I added the skewers to the hottest part of the grill right above the coals.  I only cooked them for about 1 minute and then flipped them to the other side.  You know they are ready when you get some beautiful grill marks and the edges of the lettuce look cooked.
  • Remove the skewers from the grill, add the avocado to the ends of each skewer.
  • Drizzle with Litehouse Blue Cheese Dressing.
