Ombre Sunset Jello Parfaits

Cute, cute, cute! I made these with a bit of extra jello while I was making jello shots! You know I love everything ombre and especially a good ombre sunset.

So these Ombre Sunset Jello Parfaits were an absolute must! They have layers of red, orange, and yellow just like a sunset. They are so easy to make and totally fun too. I made these without alcohol which makes them kid friendly and perfect for a party. But you could make these with alcohol too if you are looking for a stylish Cocktail Idea.

This Ombre Sunset Jello Parfaits Recipe is super simple.

Supplies:

Red, Orange, Yellow Jello
3 Mixing Bowls & a Spoon
Water
Adorable Glasses of Any Variety
Refrigerator
Optional: Vodka

I made all 3 of the flavors at once, but you could also stagger the preparation and just make one color at a time. To make them, just follow the package instructions on the Jello box. The instructions are very easy and just require boiling water and then color water.

Immediately fill each glass 1/3 of the way with red Jello. You may notice the little bubbles in the version that I made. If you want to prevent those, be sure to smooth the surface with a spoon or pop any bubbles with a toothpick.

Place it in the fridge for around 20-30 minutes. Be sure to time this well to get a gorgeous layering effect. After 20 minutes, fill in with Orange Jello next.

You will want to fill the glass another 1/3 of the way – so now your Ombre Sunset Jello Parfaits should be 2/3 of the way full with red on the bottom and orange in the middle. Repeat the exact steps as before first removing any air bubbles and then placing the glasses in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.

After 20 or so minutes, repeat the same process with the yellow on top! Your almost done! Now all you need to do is wait. Jello takes around 4 hours to set.

If you want to make this Ombre Sunset Jello Parfait recipe as a cocktail, simply replace about 1/2 cup cold water with 1/2 cup of vodka. Jello shots are best with an alcohol that is mild so vodka is perfect!
